Naman Bansal, Founder – An Endless Epiphany
Naman Bansal is an education and public policy professional, writer, and social entrepreneur working at the intersection of education, governance, and India’s development.
A Harvard University graduate, where he studied on a scholarship, Naman has worked in education across the various layers in the government from the ground up: Government schools, district administration, state governments and eventually at the national level. Recently, he served as Chief Consultant in the Office of Union Minister of Education, Govt. Of India, advising on education policy and the implementation of the National Education Policy 2020.
Earlier, while being associated with the Government of Madhya Pradesh, he launched the Madhya Pradesh NIPUN Professionals Program while working with Central Square Foundation, placing young professionals across the state to strengthen foundational learning. He has also spent several years working on the ground across India, designing and implementing programmes in education and human development. This work took him deep into the interiors of rural India across states such as Bihar, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh, where he saw first-hand how rural India actually works.
Naman was also a State Bank of India Youth for India Fellow and a Vision India Foundation Fellow, and has received numerous awards for his contributions in the field of education.
Through An Endless Epiphany, Naman writes primarily about Indian education, how to lead a good life, and the forces shaping the future. His work seeks to go beyond the daily political cycle and examine the deeper questions that will determine how India develops as a society and a nation.
Experiencing India across these different levels—from rural communities to government institutions—has led him to develop a particular interest in understanding India: how its institutions and society actually work, what shapes people’s aspirations and choices, and ultimately what constitutes a good life in the Indian context.
An Endless Epiphany is an attempt to think seriously about these questions—and, in the process, understand India a little better.
